Privacy Policy.
Last updated: June 15, 2026
At passporthdphoto.com, we take your privacy extremely seriously. Unlike standard online image editors, we operate a zero-upload server architecture.
1. Local Image Processing Guarantee
Any photo you drag, drop, paste, or select from your camera roll is loaded into your local computer's browser memory (RAM) utilizing HTML5 standard sandboxed APIs. No image data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party APIs. All modifications (cropping, face guidelines, brightness/contrast adjustments, color keying, painting, and printing layouts) are rendered locally.
2. Client-Side AI Processing
Our automatic subject isolation and background segmentation features utilize MediaPipe Selfie Segmentation machine learning models compiled to WebAssembly (WASM). These models are loaded directly into your browser and execute 100% on your local CPU/GPU hardware. No images, faces, or biometric visual assets are sent to cloud services, API endpoints, or external model servers.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We do not use tracking cookies to build individual user behavior profiles. We may utilize standard, privacy-respecting analytics services to count page views and verify website stability. These services only access aggregated metadata (e.g. browser type, referrer link, country) and never have access to your uploaded images.
4. Local Storage
When you select an image on our landing page, it is temporarily stored in your browser's sandboxed sessionStorage so it can be passed to the editor page (/app). This storage is completely local and is cleared immediately when you close the browser tab.
5. Compliance with GDPR & CCPA
Because we do not store, collect, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or images, we conform natively to strict privacy standards including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
6. Contact
If you have any questions regarding our local privacy mechanisms, please feel free to inspect the front-end code using your browser's Inspector console, submit our Contact Form, or reach out directly to support@passporthdphoto.com.
